Parramatta Square | Australia | alphamesh 7.0 bronze

One of the fastest growing regions in Sydney is Parramatta City, an administrative district in Outer Sydney, which is a direct extension of the port. The central square in Parramatta City is Parramatta Square, which comprises a multilevel retail district and seamlessly connects the square with a train station and, on the ground floor, with an atrium, lobbies and office towers above. The towers are the new architectural highlight and landmark of the square.
The offices in the Parramatta Square 4 building are bathed in light and are bright thanks to the continuous glass facade. As wall cladding in the darker corridors, curtains made of polished alphamesh 7.0 bronze ring mesh were used over an area of 135 m². The metal curtains, draped one above the other, run in wave shapes along the corridor walls. The indirect lighting of the curtains creates a warm bronze tone in the hallways, which are otherwise dominated by concrete and tiles.
